Promote Higher Order Thinking through Peer Teaching with SMART Technologies  Always popular

This workshop will focus on the ways that teachers can use SMART Technologies through student peer teaching to promote higher-order thinking, and to effectively reveal students' understanding of concepts. Addressing the ISTE Net Standards that teachers will "facilitate and inspire student learning and creativity' and "design and develop digital-age learning experiences and assessments," this workshop will share effective practices for facilitating student-centered learning experiences and collaboration. Participants will examine authentic examples of integrating the SMART Board, Notebook Software, Document Camera, and Response Units into the curriculum.
