Creating Visual Supports that Enable All Learners

Creating Visual Supports that Enable All Learners

Do you have students in your classroom with...

  • Learning disabilities?
  • English as a second/additional language?
  • Difficulties processing auditory information?
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder?
  • Attention and Focusing problems?
  • Limited verbal input?

If so, we will show you how to use Mayer-Johnson’s  Boardmaker program, to create and implement visual supports that address these diverse learning needs.

We’ll describe and provide examples of visual supports used for:

  • Input – help us to explain, remind and build independence in our students
  • Output – enhance our student’s ability to communicate with others

This workshop will provide you with the necessary information to develop effective visual supports to address the diverse learning needs of the students in your classroom.
