3D Studio Max - from polys to plugins  New

This is a crash-course introduction to Autodesk 3D Studio Max, an industry standard software package for 3D animation, special effects, and game modeling. This session is designed with the novice in mind. Participants will cover the basics of:
  • Major software features and interface navigation
  • modeling
  • texturing
  • animation
  • lighting and rendering
  • 3rd-party plugins
This session will not make you (or your students down the line) a professional animator, modeler, or special effects artist - but it will get you past some of the more intimidating parts of learning 3D Studio Max, and give you the grounding to continue learning from other 3D Studio Max tutorials, videos and training resources.
