Rethink the Power of Paint

Rethink the Power of Paint.

Visual representation allows students to develop and share their learning. Integrating computer graphics

into classroom activities re-inforces lessons and promotes communicating with peers, family,

community and the world. Teaching computer skills through the creation of design projects, as well as

art works, is practicable and empowering.

DoodlePaint is an easy to use, yet powerful Paint program. It was developed for education during 7

years of classroom use. The tools and format assist in learning technical skills, while the variety and

range of effects encourage individual expression.

During this workshop I'll share classroom and lab tested ideas for integrating Paint into your Art and

Design, Math, Language Arts, Social Studies and Science lessons. I'll share my experiences with

student collaboration, cross grade/whole school activities, incorporating Kid Lit and printing. You'll

have a chance to create your own design using the software.

Computer illustrations reinforce education concepts and encourage the creation of art works. Discover

the possibilities in Paint!
